Data scientist

Your mission

  • Working in cross-disciplinary teams as a data wrangler, data masseuse, and insight analyst
  • Taking complex, multi-dimensional data and shaping it into insights that drive action
  • Analyse behavioral and structural data from organisations to discover patterns and communicate data-driven insights about how people work together
  • Lead and support machine learning and artificial intelligence projects that directly reach Peerdom users
  • Help product teams better understand how people are using Peerdom, in order to prioritise feature development
  • Assist business teams in growth hacking and product-led growth experimentation
  • Be Peerdom's in-house go-to for all things data

Your profile

  • Extensive experience with the full data pipeline: obtaining, cleaning, exploring and modeling, interpreting, storytelling
  • Good knowledge of statistics and applying statistical models
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, relational databases and ORMs
  • Hungry to be involved in cross-disciplinary projects that span business, product, R&D and communications teams
  • Strong sense of visual and verbal data storytelling; excellent writing and plotting skills
  • Experience applying state-of-the-art machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques for prediction and recommendation systems

Bonus points

  • Programming experience in JavaScript / TypeScript or Angular

Back-end Developer

Your mission

  • Working in a team that designs, implements and delivers Peerdom as a single page application
  • Integrating our frontend application with the backend using REST APIs, GraphQL and Apollo
  • Ensuring application stability and performance
  • Contributing to architectural decisions and solutions
  • Establishing and following high standards in software quality, testing, and security
  • Performing code reviews and writing code documentation
  • Writing and executing unit and integration tests
  • Crafting product requirements together with peers

Your profile

  • Solid professional experience in the design and implementation of complex Web applications
  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript and NodeJS
  • Practical knowledge of modern architectures and design patterns
  • Good knowledge of SQL, relational databases and ORMs
  • Good knowledge of the HTTP protocol
  • Experience in the design of HTTP based APIs (REST and GraphQL)
  • Knowledge of Single-sign on (SSO) systems

User Interface Designer

Your mission

  • Research, design, innovate and prototype the experience of mapping modern organisations to visually understand themselves in ways they haven't imagined before.
  • Pave new ways for how organisations of any size (start ups to multi-nationals) and any kind (volunteers, NGOs, and for-profit enterprises) share information for decision-making.
  • Democratise organization design by making it simple, visual and accessible to all members in an organisation, including those without management experience.

Your profile

  • Bring exceptional design skills, originality and a great sense of aesthetics to our product design circle.
  • Focus on details, but also zoom out to keep the 'big picture' in mind.
  • Reduce highly complex problems into iterative product releases that move us forward in every bi-weekly sprint.
  • Perform independently, take self-initiative. You're the expert of your domain.
  • Collaborate with software developers, business strategists and other designers in a fast-paced, tightly-knit, interdisciplinary, outcome-focussed way.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey design concept ideas through demos using tools like Figma or Principle.
